Simple DIY Lip Balm with Essential Oils

Lip balm is a skin care product used to make the lips feel moisturized and soft. Most commercial brands contain toxic ingredients that are not healthy to ingest. Because they are ingested, they should be used with care. Some of the worst ingredients found in commercial brands are aluminum, propylene glycol, parabens, PEGs, mineral oil, lanolin, castor oil, and BHT. Natural ingredients such as beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil, and cocoa butter are healthier, vegan, and free from animal by-products. The main goal of lip balm is to hydrate the lips and give them a healthy shine. DIY lip balm made from all-natural ingredients will keep your lips moisturized and conditioned.

How long does homemade lip balm last?

Homemade lip balms are great for our skin, but how long does it last? Homemade lip balms have some of the same ingredients as store-bought lip balms, so they can last the same amount of time. Some key ingredients in lip balm are beeswax and petroleum grease, so you should make sure you are storing it correctly if you're making it at home. To make sure your lip balm lasts for a long time, you should put it in a sealed container to keep it from getting too warm or too moist.
